Heart Health: Simple, Moderate Physical Activity May Be The Key
Achieving and preserving a Healthy Heart is fundamental to healthy living. Further, we know that means at least some exercise and watching certain things that we eat. Unfortunately, a lot of folks hear the term “exercise” and immediately think it’s beyond them. They conjur up visions of bodybuilders pumping iron, and rail-thin runners finishing marathons, and figure the entire thing is out of the reach of normal human beings. Other people hear the term “watch what you eat” and quickly dredge up memories of the fad diets they’ve failed at before and vow at once that they’re not going to go through that again.
You Don’t Have To Pump Iron Or Run Marathons To Achieve Heart Health!
The actual facts are something else again. Heart health is not something you need to kill yourself to achieve. Recent studies have found that simple, moderate physical activity … like gardening or walking … can be all that’s needed to achieve heart health and keep your heart in good shape. The “watching what you eat” part is not that difficult either.
One of the problems we have is that there is a lot of bad information out there. The food industry is guilty of some of this and you need to know what you’re looking at when you read those labels. The media is at fault in some ways as well when they leave out certaiin information. For instance, did you know that the health of your teeth can have a serious effect on your heart health? Well, it can, but we don’t hear too much about that, do we?

Heart Healthy Foods & Exercise – The Key To Healthy Living
There’s nothing more basic to healthy living than a healthy heart. We’ve had requests for more information on this subject, and we’ll do our best to provide it. Remember, most of us are simply too sedentary. We sit in front of computers all day at work and then sit in front of a television when we get home in the evening. Make some time … just 30 minutes or so … to get out and walk daily. Or use that time to putter in the garden. Whatever you do … your heart will thank you for it. .
